Anthropic launched Claude for Small Business on 13 May 2026, bringing AI-powered workflows directly into the software millions of small business owners already rely on — including QuickBooks, PayPal, HubSpot, Canva, Docusign, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365.13
What the product does
The offering ships with 15 ready-to-run agentic workflows spanning finance, operations, sales, marketing, HR, and customer service.1 Anthropic positioned it as a toggle install that sits inside tools owners already use, rather than requiring adoption of new software.3
From within these integrations, Claude can plan payroll, close the month, run a sales campaign, and chase invoices — repeatable tasks Anthropic identified as the most time-consuming pain points for small business operators.45
Approval and security
Every workflow includes a human-in-the-loop approval step. Users initiate each workflow, approve the plan, and sign off before anything is sent, posted, or paid.6 Existing account permissions carry over automatically, meaning Claude can only access what the connected account is already authorised to access.6
Pricing
There is no additional charge for Claude for Small Business beyond the cost of existing Claude licences and whatever partner tools a business already pays for, such as QuickBooks or HubSpot.78
Promotional rollout
Alongside the product launch, Anthropic announced a 10-city promotional tour starting in Chicago, offering free AI training workshops to 100 local small business leaders at each stop.9
Anthropic's enterprise push
The launch continues Anthropic's push into enterprise and business software.2 Embedding Claude into platforms like QuickBooks places Anthropic's AI inside the daily financial workflows of millions of businesses that may never interact with the Claude interface directly — a significant distribution move in its competition with OpenAI and Google.10
